DonorDialer Support

Getting Started

Welcome to DonorDialer. Here's how to get up and running for your first call time session.

Create your account. Open DonorDialer on your iPad and sign up with your email address and a password. You'll be asked to enter your campaign name, candidate name, the office you're running for, and your election date. If you're the candidate, select "Candidate" as your role. If someone else invited you to the campaign, choose the role they assigned you.

Import your donors. Once your campaign is set up, go to the donor list and tap Import. You can upload a CSV file or an export from NGP VAN. DonorDialer will map the columns to donor fields — name, phone, email, address, giving history, and ask amounts. Review the preview and confirm the import.

Make your first call. Your donor list is now ready. Tap a donor to see their details — giving history, ask amount, notes, and contact info. Tap the phone number to dial. The call goes through your iPad's native dialer. When you hang up, DonorDialer will prompt you to log the outcome: donated, pledged, left voicemail, call back, not interested, or wrong number.

Track your progress. After logging calls, check your dashboard to see calls made, pledges captured, and progress toward your fundraising goals. When your treasurer needs a report, tap Export to download your call log or donor list as a CSV.

Common Questions

I can't sign in.

Check that you're using the email address you registered with. If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the sign-in screen to reset it. If you're still stuck, contact support below.

How do I import my donor list?

DonorDialer accepts CSV files and NGP VAN exports. Go to your donor list, tap Import, and select your file. The app will show you a column-mapping preview so you can confirm that names, phone numbers, and other fields are matched correctly before importing.

Why won't the app let me call a donor?

DonorDialer enforces TCPA federal calling-hour rules based on each donor's time zone. If a donor's local time is outside the legal calling window, the app will block the call and show you when you can try again. This keeps your campaign compliant.

How do I mark a donor as Do Not Call?

Open the donor's detail view and tap "Add to Do Not Call List." Once added, that donor is hard-suppressed across every list in your campaign — they won't appear in any caller's queue, and the suppression cannot be accidentally removed by re-importing.

What does the FEC employer/occupation field require?

Federal election law requires campaigns to collect the employer and occupation of any individual who contributes more than $200 in an election cycle. When you log a donation over $200, DonorDialer will prompt you to enter this information. Fill it in accurately — your treasurer needs it for FEC filings.

How do I export my call logs for my treasurer?

Go to the Reports section and tap Export. You can export call logs (showing every call made, outcome, and any pledge amounts) or your full donor list as CSV files. Share the file with your treasurer via email, AirDrop, or any other method.

Can multiple people on my campaign use the app at once?

Yes. DonorDialer supports multiple users per campaign. A finance director can assign specific donors to individual callers, and the team dashboard shows real-time activity across all callers. Each user signs in with their own account and sees only what their role allows.

How do I switch roles or add team members?

The campaign's finance director or candidate can manage team members. To invite a new caller, share the campaign's sign-up link. To change someone's role, go to the Team section in settings. Role options are: candidate, finance director, field director, and caller.

What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?

Your data remains in the system. Contact tommy@borichhernandez.com to request data export or deletion. We will provide your data in CSV format and delete it from our servers upon request.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your campaign's data is isolated from every other campaign's data through row-level database security. The app supports Face ID and Touch ID to prevent unauthorized access on your device. We use no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
